Dr. Mark B Brown

Dr. Marks area of focus has always been in restorative dentistry. He definately has a flare for ethetics and loves to creat beautiful smiles. The most challenging cases can be the most rewarding for him. Creating a smile for a pateint that never smiled before due to compromised teeth is his passion.

Dr. Mark attends continuing education classes regulary with an emphasis on prosthetics and implant dentistry. He anually attends both the New York Dental meeting and the Yankee Dental Conferance. Dr. Mark is a member of the New Castle Study Club. The club routinely hosts world class lecturers in the area of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Another benifiet of the club is the opportunity to present cases and discuss current trends in Dentistry with peers.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Paul Brown has been devoted to his patients’ oral health, providing the best techniques and materials to offer superior care. As the son of a dentist, Dr. Brown was able to see first-hand the difference that quality dentistry can make in a person’s life. Now, as a dentist himself, Dr. Brown looks forward to building relationships with his patients and having a positive influence on their overall health and outlook on life.

In his continuing education, Dr. Brown chooses courses that emphasize implant dentistry, as well as general courses that enable him to keep current with the latest dental techniques and technologies. He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Delaware State Dental Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Misch Intrnational Implant Institute all of which give Dr. Brown numerous opportunities to advance his knowledge in every aspect of dentistry.
Outside the Office Originally from Hockessin, DE. He and his wife, Lynne, have five children, Paul, Jack, Avery, Luke, and Mark. Dr. Brown's free time is happily spent with his family and friends, although he also enjoys playing golf and fishing when time allows. He is active in his children’s school and youth programs, and enjoys coaching their sports teams.
Dr. Chris S Baran

Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Christopher Baran attended Salesianum School from 1992 to 1996. From there, he went to the University of Delaware where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology in 2000. After taking a year off, Dr. Baran was accepted into the Temple University School of Dentistry. In 2005, he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and began a one-year General Practice Residency at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA.
By regularly participating in continuing education, Dr. Baran is able to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments. This, in addition to his professional affiliations, allows him to offer state-of-the-art care to his patients. Outside the Office Dr. Baran grew up in Wilmington, DE, and currently resides in Hockessin, DE. In his weekday free time, Dr. Baran enjoys going to the gym. Free weekends during the winter often take him to a mountain somewhere for skiing, and his weekends during spring and summer are split between the golf course and the beach.
